Four Forty Theatre tackle A Midsummer Night’s Dream with their trademark mix of irreverence, wit, and theatrical ingenuity. Lovers are enchanted, fairies feud, and a troupe of hapless players rehearse their way into disaster — all in a single moonlit night. Please bring your own low backed chairs, blankets and picnics. There is also the option to purchase picnics and refreshments at the cafe.
There is level access to the garden and limited disabled parking out the front of the building.
No dogs except assistance dogs. No smoking.
The performance will continue despite the great British summers attempts to ruin it! Umbrellas are not encouraged as they ruin sight lines but macs and raincoats are just as fetching! In the event of lightning that poses a threat to safety the event may be cancelled.
