ShakesBEER 2026 at Maverick Brewing Co. with Four Forty Theatre!

Four Forty Theatre invite you into their outrageous take on Shakespeare’s most magical comedy. A Midsummer Night’s Dream follows runaway lovers, magical creatures, and a group of very determined actors who find themselves in over their heads. With quick character changes, playful invention, and a sparkle of silliness, Four Forty transform the classic into a joyful night of theatre for audiences of all ages. Whether you’re a Shakespeare lover or brand new to his plays, this production brims with warmth, laughter, and unexpected surprises. It’s a summer dream brought vividly — and hilariously — to life.


The event will take place on the grounds of the brewery and will go ahead despite inclement weather therefore we encourage you to dress appropriately. 

Please bring your own chair for maximum comfort. Limited bench seating is available on a first come first serve basis. 

The Tap room will be open from 5pm

Performance starts at 7pm

Running Time: 2 hours 10 Mins including interval.

NO ALCOHOL to be brought onto site. Maverick will be serving their range of delicious craft beers along with their selection of other bar favourites.

NOTE FOR DRIVERS! Please do not park at the brewery where possible as the performance and audience seating will take place in the brewery car park. If you require a disabled space please feel free to use the brewery car park for closer drop offs!
